Welcome to the start of the Alpine Wine Society! Launched in April 2022 in NYC by two wine-loving sisters, we’re just beginning what we hope will become a lively and active community of new and experienced wine drinkers alike.
The society is free to join and you can expect a bi-monthly newsletter, virtual and in-person wine tastings, curated bottles from our partner shops, online speaker series, members dinners and more.

What is Alpine Wine?
And why would I drink it?
Alpine wine spans four countries — Switzerland, France, Italy, and Austria — and over 20 different types of grapes. They are refreshing, approachable, and stimulate both the palette and the imagination. They’re also wines for any time of the year, from the coldest days in winter to the hottest, most humid moments of August. Most pair beautifully with a diverse range of foods but can also be sipped on their own.
